This is what happens with NIL? Will it come true? Who knows, but it might be happening.

Oscar Tshiebwe to join Kentucky for the spring semester
"""Pilgrim: He did it once transferring in from West Virginia, why not run it back with Big O this Christmas? Oscar Tshiebwe is begging for it with all of these other pros and former draft picks somehow returning to college basketball with remaining eligibility. Shoot, Baylor added the No. 31 selection in the 2023 NBA Draft on Christmas Eve, 7-foot center James Nnaji getting four years from the NCAA. That guy was part of the Karl-Anthony Towns trade to the Knicks in 2024! Are we serious?!

Tshiebwe has tweeted not once, not twice, but thrice about coming back to Kentucky for one final season in Lexington."""

I’d never say no, but he’s not our biggest need.
There is no longer a college basketball

I would take Oscar back dominating the offensive glass. Maybe UK could get Jon Wall back for 3 more years as well. [Wink]

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

This is all becoming a bad joke. Players drift from team to team, be they the "pros" (NBA) or "college", or overseas teams...with the only difference being in college there are no contracts, just paychecks and free-flowing movement from one team to another.

I haven't watched a single game this season, and frankly, I find myself not even wanting to wear my UK gear. I feel no attachment to whatever is happening at UK. My loyalty was to a different era, a different kind of basketball... not this.

I’ve watched games but with less exuberance. Not only because of the level of play, but they are now professional athletes. I’ve never really followed pros.

I’d rather watch T-ball.

Just color me stupid, I watch as much college sports as I ever have and still enjoy it.

I hate the present NIL and the transfer portal and wish meaningful changes would be made. Our justice system has ruled and we live with the consequences.

Looks like he who has the deepest pockets get the top of the heap. Whether that proves to be a winning combination remains to be seen.

I see it getting to the point where every year every single player will enter the portal and see if they can get more money.

I agree with Bigcatdaddy - there is no longer a college basketball.
