I don't watch TV. The only exception is UK basketball and football. Up here in Indiana, the most cost-effective way to do that is to subscribe to Youtube TV during the BB and FB seasons, then cancel the off months. YouTubeTV costs $75/month or so, and gives all the ESPN, old-school major network, and SEC network games, so I almost always can watch our wildcats play.

But, honestly, I am about ready to throw in the towel. Cal is driving me crazy (has been for years) with the one-and-dones and his NBA focus. Stoops can't keep a staff together for more than one year. NIL and the transfer portal have changed college sports forever, for the worse. I am honestly finding that, after 50+ years of avid fandom, that I just don't care much any more.

There. I said it. Tiptree is losing interest in UK sports. I am certainly not willing to pay for the privilege of experiencing ever-increasing frustration.

So... this is it. I'll save $75 bucks a month, and lots more money on antacids...

Tip, I cancelled my YouTube TV about six months ago, and I don't miss it at all. 99% of television is just garbage these days. It does suck not having DVR, but like you, I just don't care about college sports that much anymore. Paying players and the transfer portal did it for me.

Tip/PC,

I lost my “fandom” around 2018 or 2019. I thought this team might bring it back a little after watching the way they played against Kansas, but that has not been the case.
