I am quite disappointed in our defense. They are getting 2-footers with nobody near them.
We all know I am disappointed in our offense. WHY WOULD WE PASS THE BALL INTO TRIPLE TEAMS? Do we not have anything else in our playbook, especially when it is 100% clear they are going to double- and triple down on Tshiewbe.

We'll see if Livingston is like Hopkins. Has a good game and then barely sees the floor the next several games.
Lesson 5: we will not win #9 with Cal as coach. Unless he drastically changes, or the pmayers just ball out despite the coaching. And I don't see that happening. Disappointing coach, and unfortunately team, but that's on the coach.

First we lose in FB and now we are losing in BB! You can't win when you shoot free throws like we did, or fumble the ball, make bad passes, can't defend your man, can't chew chewing gum and walk, etc. etc. etc.
I think someone should let Oscar know he shouldn't have come back to try to win #9. We just don't seem to have any consistency with this team. They are either all on or all off. I don't think it really matters because NO ONE seems to be able to play consistently.
We shouldn't be looking to win the SEC unless we get a whole lot better than we've been playing.

Part of the problem is the lineups Cal plays and how he uses them. Change that, that's the huge problem. I truly believe we have a team that could make a final four. And most basketball people thought we had a final four team based on the players. Sooner or later they need to not really consider the players as much as the coach. If they do that we will nver be pucked for a final four. We have the right pieces, we just have a guy playing checkers instead of chess. He doesn't know how to best use what he has. This team will only win if guys somehow can just take over in spurts. It's not going to he because the coach gets them good shots, or let's them run. He is a slow down control the game coach. Micromanage. As it is right now this team may finish 5th or 6th in the SEC. We have played 3 ranked teams and are 0-3. We still have plenty of games against ranked teams. This could be another 10+ loss season with Cal

I didn’t watch the game but I saw some highlights and I looked at the box score.
Toppin and Wheeler absolutely kill this team. Neither are good offensive players, they both are below average defenders, Toppin has no basketball IQ and makes mistakes that a fifth grader wouldn’t make and Wheeler turns the ball over way too much to be considered a good point guard.
Since neither are an offensive threat teams just play off and double Oscar.

And yet those 2 typically get some of the highest minutes. At least Wheeler only shot 6 times last night. He should not see the floor more that 25 minutes, tops.
