It will be interesting to see where he lands. He will be a stud player for someone in my opinion. Big, strong, physical player who can score at all three levels.
Maybe the best player that Cal has screwed over at UK.

So disappointed that Cal didn’t play him more. Should have gotten in the game against St. Peters. I hate to see him go, but certainly don’t blame him.

Cal is not doing the UK program any favors with some of the moves he made. This young man should have beena starter ahead of Brooks in my opinion. I just do not see any NBA talent in Brooks and hope he does hire an agent while testing the NBA waters.

This hurts really bad, but I can't blame the kid. I really was looking for him to have a breakout year this year. He looked like someone to me that could go and get your 12 and 8 every night easily. Normally I would say tough it out, work your tail off, and earn your minutes. But I feel he did well enough to earn more minutes this year, especially after the LSU game. Cal screwed him over, and I feel that this is a big reason why he is not getting recruits. They know that if they aren't in that top 5-6 they have no chance of earning playing time with him. I don't blame Sky for decommiting. I'm sure he knew he wouldn't have a chance at starting even if he earned it. I said in another thread that I wasn't sure if I wanted Cal gone; I'm sure now. We look to be in a lot of trouble for next year. The only saving grace will be if Oscar decides to come back. If not, we are could be very bad. Unless the 2 freshmen show they are absolute studs, and Frederick shoots the lights out. But Cal will probably just have Frederick stand in the corner.

What gets me about the lack of playing time is that Cal will sometimes say "I looked down the bench at the end and realized I should've played (insert name here) a little more. I just forgot about him."
Cal either has dimentia or he's just a poor manager. Either way, it's bad.

I'd say Hopkins will turn out to be another Juzang, good for 3 good years for some other team while we flounder with Cal trying to make stars out of Brooks and Ware. No consistency in either one of them.

Agree. His comment after the Saint Peter's game was perplexing as well. He said something like "I thought about putting in Damion and Bryce, but then thought that would not be fair to them".
Basically stating that he thought they would play bad since he had not been playing them at the end of the season. Just a very strange comment.
