It really is a shame that they put the 3 of 4 most complete teams in the Country in the same bracket. This should be the Final Four and instead only one of UCLA/UNC/UK will be there.
It could have been an epic Final Four. Just a terrible job of seeding by the Committee. They need to turn it over to basketball people to pic and seed the tournament and this would have never happened.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

It wasn't fair to Wichita State either. No way should a 31-4 team have to play a two seed on opening week. They probably should have been a 2 themselves, IMO.

Trey, I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw our bracket. Ours is the only bracket that has the one, two, three and four seeds left in UNC, Ky, UCLA and Butler. If you watched the UNC game, they should have been beaten by Arkansas. I know I dislike UNC but I have always been pretty objective when it comes to officiating and all I ask for in consistency, that did not happen in that game. Arkansas had a 5 point lead with about two minutes to go when the zebras took over for UNC and let them get away with two charges, obvious charges or they would be home also with the rest of the highly regarded, number one conference in basketball, the GREAT ACC. It would have been a classic final four with UK, UNC, UCLA and Kansas but we know that two of those teams cannot possibly be there because they are all in the same bracket. Shame on you NCAA, and our own Mitch Barnhart who was on the committee and let that happen.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE $$$$$$$$$$$ no matter who is on the committee. The match ups are made so they can draw the biggest crowds and make the money. UK vs NKU in the first game. Who you trying to fool guys. We weren't born yesterday.

I think also not just for the TV coverage they put the big teams together to eliminate each other so Puke could be setup (sneaking)in on the other side of the bracket to win it all but it back fired . JMPO

On one hand we say that the ncaa screws us with the seeding and matchups etc etc (to knock us out(
on the other hand we say that we get the highest ratings so the ncaa puts us in the toughest bracket!
we (me included) seem to be talking out of both sides of our mouth! cant have it both ways!

Given the price of tickets, the NCAA needs to do whatever they can to get fans to go to the games. I really wanted to see UK play in Indy, but tickets were over $200 for nose-bleeds!
The whole thing has gotten rotten. Starting at the top, with the feckless NCAA and its arbitrary enforcement of its rules, the increasingly poor officiating, the ridiculous brackets designed to produce made-for-TV matchups... It is all about the money, folks.
I miss the old days.

I am sure Mitch Barnhart kept the Cats from getting an unfair draw. Mitch is on the committee isn't he? He stated that UK got a fair deal, when the brackets came out. [ 03-20-2017, 11:36 AM: Message edited by: boomdaddy ]

The tourney seedings are a joke. It is all about making money, which the NCAA keeps the lion share of the profits, not the schools.
They also have sacred cows, when it comes to programs that can get away with anything.
By the way, the NCAA has torched Kentucky in the past.
Duke has done plenty of shady things and has never been touched.
UNC had fake classes for all of their sports team. Should have been the death penalty across the board. No penalties.
Louisville hired strippers and prostitutes for recruits and parents of recruits. They still have their championship and no sanctions.
John Wooden was the teflon Don of the 60s and 70s. They paid players and nobody cared. [ 03-22-2017, 10:32 AM: Message edited by: boomdaddy ]
