Players have no idea where their shots are to come from on the floor. Baffling to me. They just don't move well off the ball to get to open spots. So it is either a drive to the basket or jumpers from the wrong spot on the floor.
Hopefully they can figure it out, but I'm not sure. Ulis/Briscoe/Murray all don't play well without the ball in their hands.
I don't see Willis on the bench. Is is out sick?
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Jamal Murray trying to do much too much, playing out of control. We are getting out hustled, beat in every phase of the game. I never thought they would out rebound us. Skal has a long way to go to be a great college basketball player, much farther than I would have ever dreamed with his credentials coming out of high school. He just does not know how to play the game of basketball yet.
Kentucky missed 13 of their last 18 shots and their shot selection was terrible. Getting out rebounded by a weak rebounding team, that is lack of effort. [ 12-19-2015, 04:27 PM: Message edited by: SCWC ]

Very poor shot selection especially to end the last two minutes of the half when they had a chance to cut it. Like I said, they just don't understand how to get a good shot in the offense and then they get frustrated and throw up a prayer.

We only shot 30 percent in that half. You are right Trey, every player seemed totally out of sync in that half, hopefully they can regroup. We did end up out rebounding them in the half but our defense is non existent as is our offense. Hopefully we can see a different second half. Bad decisions by Briscoe and Murray all half long.
And Alex Poythress, no scoring from him, we need him and he was a no show in that half.
Ohio State shot 7 of 12 from behind the three point line. They play from outside in, you would think we would have been prepared for that. [ 12-19-2015, 04:32 PM: Message edited by: SCWC ]

The offense may be pathetic, but shooting better would make that look less pathetic. However, our defense and especially our rebounding are also pathetic in this game. UCLA game revisited so far. Still, time for a turnaround but better get started soon.

Murray is making a few threes but still making some bad decisions handling the ball. Where is Ulis today, he is not a factor in this game and he normally controls everything we do offensively. This might be his worst game as a Cat, 8 minutes to redeem himself, maybe our little pit bull will catch fire.

Alex starting to hustle. And we are finally taking the three point shot away from them. [ 12-19-2015, 05:26 PM: Message edited by: SCWC ]

That intentional foul hurt, same official has made the last two bad calls, Motta now owns him.

Murray should have been jumping on the ball rather than trying to pick it up, that really hurt.

That intentional foul call could have easily been a foul in Poythress; favor or a jump ball at mid court. Nope let's let them play football instead!

Our offense has not movement or no flow. THe forwards never get a good look at the basket!

I'm not so sure that the dribble drive offense is working now like Cal thought it was earlier in the season!

IF our defense would play with the same type of intensity as we did in the final 6 minutes of the game we would bury teams!

Yep. I finally saw him sitting there after a Murray three.
