Dickie V slobbering on about a UK-IU game. Tell me, who has had the tougher non-conference schedule since UK and IU don't play any more? No contest, UK has. Why do we need to add IU, who has yet to show why they deserve another series with UK? Their glorious past is getting ever more distant. They aren't all that relevant any more and yet they could still be playing UK if it wasn't for their insistence on playing a game at Bloomington. They are insistent on that point, even though UK has offered to play them every year in Indianapolis, which they rejected. After their fans behavior at the last game in Bloomington in 2011, which not only endangered our players but insulted our fans who were there with their drunken loutish behavior, I don't see UK ever going there again.

Dickie V needs to give it a rest. UK has bigger fish to fry, even if IU cannot find any. I'm still waiting to see how many big name non-conference opponents line up to take UK's place in a home and home series with IU. So far, if it wasn't for the required every other year Big Ten-ACC challenge that has to be played at Bloomington, nobody of any consequence would go there (except the required Big Ten opponents of course).

IU fans and Crean are strictly bush league and they got what they deserve when UK opted out of their series on those terms. The neutral site series, Indianapolis and Louisville, for the previous couple of decades prior, was great. I'm surprised that Dickie V, as astute about college basketball as he thinks that he is, hasn't figured that out yet.

I keep telling IU fans, (My wife's family) that we don't care to play IU cause it brings down our strength of schedule!

Dickie V has little relevance and he is just talking to get readers. The Kentucky administration is going to do what they want and that's the way it should be.

I do not listen to Dickie V at all, mute him out. The game of college basketball has long since passed Dickie V by, time for ESPN to put him out to pasture. We have nothing to gain by playing IU.
