and 3. That’s Coach Cal’s record against Mike Anderson as coach of the Razorbacks. Anderson is the only active SEC coach with a winning record against Cal and gives him the lowest win percentage by far as you can see in the table below.

Coach Calipari Vs The SEC
Current SEC Coaches Wins Losses %
Mike Anderson 1 3 25%
Billy Donovan 9 5 64%
Frank Martin 3 1 75%
Kevin Stallings 9 3 75%
Billy Kennedy 3 1 75%
Anthony Grant 7 2 78%
Mark Fox 8 2 80%
Johnny Jones 4 1 80%
Bruce Pearl 5 1 83%
Andy Kennedy 7 1 88%
Rick Ray 4 0 100%
Donnie Tyndall 1 0 100%
Kim Anderson 2 0 100%

Expect Cal to get back on the way to fixing that tomorrow night.

that’s the amount of points sophomore Bobby Portis scores each game to nearly lead the SEC. KT Harrell scores 17.7 points per game to take the top spot but since he plays for Auburn those numbers don’t count. Portis has been a superstar for the Razorbacks this season and could very well end up SEC player of the year. That race could be decided tomorrow when he squares off against the defense of the slash brothers, Karl-Anthony Towns and Willie Cauley-Stein. Randle kept him to an average of 10 points and 8 rebounds in the two meetings last season. Do that and the Cats should cover that 17 point spread.

30.32%

In four match-ups against ranked opponents this season those teams have combined to shoot just 30.32% from the floor. As Booker said today, when they hear a team could provide a challenge they “lock in”. Against those same ranked teams Kentucky has shot 94-212, or 44.34% and won by a combined 66 points. I’d say that’s pretty locked in.

As always, feel free to post your own numbers for the score of tomorrow afternoon’s game down below. Go Cats.

My wife will be having a heart procedure on the afternoon of the 12th. It is an overnight at the hospital deal, and I don't know what time we'll be getting home on the 13th. I may miss my first game of the season on TV.
