Line was 18 for tonight and we won by 18! Vegas is good!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-25-2015, 09:49 PM:
It a fantastic play when KAT made the stop on defense and then ran down the floor, and threw down a big time dunk.

46 conference titles is more than all of the other schools combined!
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-25-2015, 10:13 PM:
I'm thinking that Vegas knows how to make money!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-25-2015, 10:15 PM:
That's what makes the Cat's such a famous program. Our records are tough to beat.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-25-2015, 10:16 PM:
The UCLA run of National Championships however is the gold standard for college basketball.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-25-2015, 10:17 PM:
Vegas made a fortune tonight on the UK game.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-25-2015, 10:27 PM:
Yeah, that's another one of those records Cal would like to capture. the UCLA one!
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-25-2015, 10:28 PM:
If he will stay around and be our coach long enough. We very well might be able to get that record away from UCLA!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-25-2015, 10:32 PM:
The UCLA one is a huge challenge.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-25-2015, 10:34 PM:
If their is a coach that can close to UCLA's record or beat it, Cal would be the one.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-26-2015, 06:05 AM:
Right now it would seem that way!

But there's no mention of Sam Gilbert!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-26-2015, 12:26 PM:
Wooden's over all coaching record was 664–162 (.804). That is scary good!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-26-2015, 12:30 PM:
Cal's record is 621-176 (0.779)
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-26-2015, 12:32 PM:
If Cal stays long enough he definitely has a shot at Wooden's record wins and losses.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-26-2015, 01:21 PM:
Yeah 2 more years and he'll surpass the wins column!
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-26-2015, 01:21 PM:
Nope, Norm! No mention of Sam!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-26-2015, 01:53 PM:
The titles will be awfully tough to even come close to.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-26-2015, 01:54 PM:
We just have to take one season at a time.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-26-2015, 01:54 PM:
It's even better to take one game at a time.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-26-2015, 02:24 PM:
Oh yeah but that number is not insurmountable!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-26-2015, 11:26 PM:
The way this team is playing we can really set some high standards for all future teams.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-27-2015, 06:04 AM:
Yeah, but hopefully (even though we know it will happen)we won't always try to compare future teams to this particular one!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-27-2015, 02:42 PM:
It's going to happen and for a long time too. This winning streak, the longest in UK history, has made them a bench mark for all future Kentucky teams.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-27-2015, 07:37 PM:
In the 112 year history of this program it the longest win streak ever!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-27-2015, 11:43 PM:
Yep your right longest in school history, MH.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-28-2015, 08:41 AM:
What's even sweeter, we're getting to witness it all!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-28-2015, 10:10 AM:
We are blessed being Cat fans for many years. It has been a fun ride for sure.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-28-2015, 10:20 AM:
THere's only been a few down years through all of it!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-28-2015, 01:50 PM:
Cal has had only one down year when he didn't make it to the tournament.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-28-2015, 01:53 PM:
I know people hate to hear this but it's true. Tubby is the only UK coach to play in the NCAA tournament every year he coached the Cats.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 02-28-2015, 02:29 PM:
He's also the only coach to coach at KY to make the final four in his first season. HE NEVER RETURNED THOUGH!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 03-01-2015, 09:24 AM:
He was a coach that cared about his players and the fans.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 03-01-2015, 01:47 PM:
THe next closest team is only 36 SEC Championships behind KY! LSU has 10!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 03-01-2015, 02:49 PM:
I don't think we can call that even close.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 03-01-2015, 02:50 PM:
Soon to be 37 behind too.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 03-01-2015, 03:17 PM:
THat will have to wait until next year!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 03-01-2015, 11:49 PM:
That's not that far off.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 03-02-2015, 05:02 AM:
I want to finish this one off first!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 03-02-2015, 12:02 PM:
Do you think there is a UK fan that doesn't want to win? That is a given we all want to we us win every year.
