It doesn't work. OK folks y'all owe me for this FF. I have diligently and calmly (yeah, right) sat on my sofa with my right foot on the floor, my left foot tucked under my butt and my fingers interlocked in my lap for the last three games. And I can't let my glass of tea get empty (I refill every commercial). This is the magic behind Ky's last three wins. How do I know? Because every time I lay down on the sofa to watch the game, run out of tea, unlock my fingers, or put both feet on the floor the other team goes on a scoring spree. I suddenly realized this during the 2nd half of the WSU game...it has worked ever since.
Oh, yeah, I almost forgot, I can't blink when Ky has the ball. This one has me a little perplexed as to why it works, but it's not my place to question what may very well be divine intervention on behalf of the Cats.
Anybody else got any "magic" that helps the Cats?

I've worn the same UK shirt for the last seven games, starting with the LSU game in the SEC tourney. We're 6-1 with me wearing that shirt! Why didn't I wear it all year??? [ 03-31-2014, 09:30 PM: Message edited by: PaulCat ]

And yes, I have washed that shirt during the seven-game span.

I'm not very superstitious. I did wear a blue flannel shirt during the Louisville game, but wore a red one yesterday. They do seem to win more often if I watch in my TV room from my recliner, than they do when I watch in the living room with my grandson on his big screen.

Well I guess im ate up too lol, I dont sit on the couch, I stand the whole game, as soon as I sit...bad things happen, also when UK has the ball I get real comfortable and when the opponent has the ball I move around. Don't laugh...it works. Also during all timeouts I look at TCD but dont join the chat...when I join the chat they lose...once again, call me crazy, but it works!

I have worn the same UK Shirt, with CATS sleep pants since the SEC Final with my right foot tucked under my butt and my left foot resting on the coffee table...... After each game I hang them over my Patrick Patterson jersey... (I commandeered my wife's "quilt rack?)..... and NO, I have NOT washed them.... Hey, its ok, I don't go anywhere.. I've not bathed, shaved or changed underwear since the tournament start. Wife left me yesterday.

I always wear a UK shirt or sweatshirt on game day. For the late night games I've been mixing a rum and ginger ale to try and stay somewhat relaxed. But it doesn't always work.

Well, maybe I am not as crazy as I think I may be. I have worn the same shirt all through the tourney. I did have to wash it. I sit on the same place on the couch. I have pretty much given up carbonated beverages, but I have to have my slushy-almost frozen- Diet Pepsi during the games, and I can't let it run out. I have been known to change shirts at half-time if things don't seem to be going very well. Sometimes, I feel like the guys from Celtic Pride.

So, tell me Old Norm, are you going to watch Saturday's game in your tv room nestled in your recliner or on the big screen with your grandson in the living room?

That really depends on whether or not my wife is watching something in TV room. If she is, I'll go into living room. We may be old, but she's still the boss!

I have a routine where I spell out each teams name and rank and score, when I do this we either make a defensive stop or we score, but when I don't the other team scores. I know it sounds crazy, even a little skitzo, but it works. I started doing this halfway through the wichata st game and it's worked ever sense.
