Damn. Lousy half for UK. I like the way we fought our way back in, but WHY do we always have to do that?
These refs are all over the map, so nobody knows how to play this game. There are muggings that don't get called, and phantom fouls that do. But we have to get tougher, especially WCS. Dakari has been much, much more effective than Willie. And Poythress has been a beast!
Next half we need to get after it from the get-go!

I can see the starting lineup changing tomorrow. Too many guys are still playing high school ball. The Harrisons and Randle better realize where they are soon or they could be looking to come off the bench. They are thinking too slow and they are taking defensive plays off. I don't think we have enough time left to get where this team needs to be before the season ends.

Really, NBA execs think some of these guys are ready for the NBA. Randle is physically, but I would lean towards young now as being more ready. No one else is close.

We have been taken completely out of our game. Our guards are completely a non-factor, and are prone to egregious errors on both end of the floor. Our bigs are neutralized. Meanwhile, their guards are lights-out from the arc, and their bigs can score in the paint.

Our bigs are rushed, making poor shots, one-handed rebounds, and playing lousy defense.
Their bigs can score at will, have poise, and let the game come to them. What a contrast.

for the dunk because we had 3 guys OFF their FEET trying to block the little guy...... NOBODY, stopping the ball, everyone playing for the block...... by the time we swallowed the guard. O'Bryant was only guy left on the court...

They are right. Randle is overrated, stein is overrated, both Harrison's are overrated.

Next game Cal needs to send a message by sitting these prima donnas and play the guys that really care about this season. He has to start Poythress and Johnson. Sit randle and sit stein. I would even sit the Harrison's. He has to get this teams attention now and demand heart and effort. Screw the talent right now. Play some guys that give a rip, before there is 20 seconds in the game left.

Refs had nothing to do with this tonight. Fouls were pretty even until the end when we had to foul. This was all on our team. Lack of effort, lack of focus, lack of leadership, lack of intelligence, etc. completely embarrassing loss. Florida will kill us with their experience, and their good coach.

Score 82 points and lose to LSU. Completely unacceptable. We just didn't want to play defense, and fight to win. We just hoped we would win because we are supposed to be better. Just thought it would happen without having to work for it. Guess what guys, this is not high school. Time to step up and play like a college man. Time to get it together and someone please lead. Can MKG come back and run some workouts with these guys.

They don't seem to realize that their draft stock is taking a nosedive. If I had millions on the line, I believe I'd put out some effort. They didn't.

I truly believe they think it doesn't really matter. Some of these guys just think they are so good that the NBA is going to take them. The NBA knows this is just college and they will shine once they get to the NBA. That's why we have to start getting guys that want to play for UK, not for the NBA. I am tired of this university being a pit stop for some of these guys. They come here just seeing it as a short time before they can get to their dream. They don't see the college time as important, or valuable, just a minor stop on the way. I hate it.
