Making a good percentage of three point shots plus our free throw shooting was the major difference in today's game. Without that good shooting, we would probably have lost. Tennessee actually outplayed us and probably deserved a win. I don't like getting man handled like we did today even with a good win. We need to play tougher and not let teams push us around. I never thought I would see Julius Randle have only two rebounds, both in the first half.

We are not nearly where this young team should be by now and I fear we will not be there by the end of the season. I am just not overly impressed with this team. Great kids but don't seem to have the toughness or defensive skills to be a great team.

I was really disappointed with Willy today. He was a non factor. Randle didn't score much in the second half, but he did draw a crowd, freeing up other players.

I think Willy should now see that he need's to put
on some weight and muscle. He's playing with the
big boys. He seems to get pushed around, and then
stops playing as hard.

Who would have guessed.. 23-24 from the free throw line and 7-16 from 3 point land. We will win all the time if we shoot like this..

I thought this was Dakari Johnson's best game. His strong lower base served him well against Maymom and Stokes. He cleared space and UK rebounded better as a team when he was on the floor I thought.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Me too Trey. He can play against slower, bulkier front lines and hold his own weight wise. Willie was sort of lost today, second bad game in a row for him.

Yeah, willie has been fading for some time now and Dakari is starting to help the team some. Willie's minutes are also on the decline. He may be stuck here for another year if he doesn't get it in gear. It's agood thing our 3 point shooting was good today because our overall 44% sucks. I would say that most of that was caused by so many in close misses which continue to hurt us. Randle letting the ball get taken away from him so many times today doesn't help his resume at all.

SCWC, get used to this if we keep relying on freshmen every year. This is what we will keep seeing in the future if we keep having is many freshmen. Great shooting today from 3, and glad to see them improve on the free throws. It is good to get a win because of our free throw shooting for once.
