Gets away with more hand to hand combat fouls than any player that I can remember since Al Horford at Florida. Continually pushes guys in lower back and clears arms up high on rebounds. He finally got called for one in the second half.

It has been that way the entire time he has been in college.

He does a lot of pushing with his hands under the basket. If they were calling it, he would have fouled out by now.

You've got to give Stokes credit though. He's turned into one heck of a player.

PC,

No doubt Stokes is very good and he is very good at being able to use his hands to clear space. It is just not in this UK game that he has done it. He has done it every game I have ever seen him play. Some guys just have a knack of doing it and doing it without getting called. One of my favorite Cats of all-time was very good at doing the same thing to clear space: Jamal Magloire.

Great talent any coach in the country would like him. he comes into Rupp and 8-12 from the field, and grabs 15 boards. He is a heck of a talent with a motor that won't stop. I'd want him on my team any day of the week.
