I think we'll get our butts kicked in Florida, but don't expect the score to be too lopsided.

I don't predict scores of game and expect the cats to win every game they play until the final horn has sounded and we are behind on the score board. I must admit, I don't recall ever seeing Ky a double digit underdog to anyone and the opening Vegas line had them at +10 with the betting bringing it down to nine an a half for the game at Florida. I still expect us to win tonight, but then again, I always do, especially since Cal took over at UK.

Agree with SCWC. You just never know of the outcome. I thought we would beat LSU and Auburn at home by at least 20 and we struggled the whole way. Then I thought we would lose by 10 to Ole Miss. Only God knows! I always pick the Cats too.

This team are extremely hard to figure out and have a tendency to tax the mind and patience of long time Cat fans. They can make me dread watching them play from time to time but no matter what, I never miss a game, good or bad. I think the individual talent is much better than the team and that has to drive Coach Cal nuts. His forte is defense, something this group don't seem to like to play.

I'm afraid our bigs will have to be hitting 3's too for us to win and they don't shoot them.
rlt4uk, that sucks that you have to miss that game.
Posted by EnterpriseCat (Member # 2881) on 02-12-2013, 05:47 PM:
UF will be fired up and the Cats will once again miss 45% of their free throws. If not for those factors, we'd win by 3, but instead we lose by 4. UF 77 UK 73.
Maybe the Cats hit 75% of their free throws and we win 80-77.

I have to pick the Cats, though I would not put my money on it.

Norm, uncS had the Gators to win by 13 points. I'd say thats a pretty darn good prediction...

We basically spot teams 15-20 points off of our stupid turnovers. And one of those stupid turnovers may have cost Noel the rest of this season.

My wife and I were at the game and without a doubt there is very little heart and skill at the guard position (outside of Mays lots of heart not a lot of skill). Very little skill at the 3 position (AP) and KW is tooooo slow. Our bigs are the best on the floor and basically we have no (zero) half ct offense!
Hate to say it but when a former walk (jp) on gets as many mins as 5*' s then houston we have a problem.
Probably the worst overall team play I have seen in many many a game - maybe even back to the billy era.
Hurts to say it but sometimes I can't see it with my blue tinted glasses on TV but in person it is sooooo apparent!

I think this team function much better with Polson at the point guard than they do with Harrow running the team. Polson is a much better defender than Harrow and is much more team oriented. That being said, we are truly hurting for solid point guard play with this team, regardless of who is playing that position from the current roster.
Posted by uncSUCKS (Member # 2148) on 02-13-2013, 11:23 AM:
Not only was this the best team we've faced all year, but they're strength (pressure on guards) is our biggest weakness.
I fell in love with Poythress early in the season but I'm not sure he would start for any top 25 team. Very disappointing.
With Noel we probably lose by 13
