Gotta love it.
The big news of the day was the release of Kentucky’s Academic Progress Rate score. Kentucky silenced the haters with a 974 APR, which tied Vanderbilt for the highest in the SEC. (See, we have smart kids, too!) The score was good enough to be listed in the 80th-90th percentile in the nation for basketball. Bob Knight was not available for comment
With Kentucky’s 974 APR, Coach Cal will receive $50,000 in incentives for his team scoring above a 950. That brings Coach Cal’s total incentives from last season to $375,000. That’s enough money to open a fourth Orange Leaf Yogurt in Lexington or purchase a small banner ad on KSR. Again, Bob Knight was not available for comment.
