We have been waiting for this to happen and it finally came!
This was a shot UK fans had been waiting for, and it certainly had been one that senior Mark Krebs and his family had been waiting for.
The little-used guard got into Saturday night's game late and buried a three-pointer from the deep right wing as his teammates and Wildcat fans celebrated.
Krebs, whose mother Terri suffers from breast cancer, had hoped to score when she made the trip to Lexington for his Senior Day.
He didn't then but scored on an even bigger stage Saturday.
Said Cousins: “That was the best play of the game in my eyes.”
Miller said, “I think everybody jumped up in the air and was happy for him when he hit that three.
“That means a lot for everybody on the team.”

I agree wholeheartedly with Boogie and Miller! The smile on Mark's face after he hit that shot was priceless, and literally brought tears to my eyes. With the hardships facing his family, this joyful moment is a well-deserved ray of sunshine for him and his folks.

I think it says a lot about this team that this shot was the high-light of the game.

I agree. I also jumped up and pumped my fist in the air. You would have thought UK had won it all. I was very happy for him.

Knowing the Krebs family, I know that the shot Mark hit brought smiles to everyone, most of all his mother.
