Anyone out there know the last time a UK team started out 0-1?
I am highly disappointed in this team...Once again PLEASE GILLISPIE QUIT STARTING/PLAYING PORTER, its not a coincidence that we make a comeback in the 2nd half once that bum is off the floor. 2 pts. maybe 1 or 2 assists and 5 T0s, GREAT STATS FOR A STARTING PG. (stats that are consistent with his career stats at UK) and he continually got beat by his man on defense...
This guy should not have a scholarship, and certainly should not play! BCG needs to duct-tape him to the bench & leave him there. I'd rather Liggins play and make mistakes and get better than waste any more time and effort into trying to make Micheal Porter a PG.
AND FOR GOD SAKES PRACTICE YOUR FREE THROWS, what an embarrassing lose. People can say if this, if that all they want, but we aren't going to win a single close game this year if our FT % doesn't get better. (HACK-A-SHAQ ring any bells?) [ 11-14-2008, 10:28 PM: Message edited by: The Blue Blazer ]

I'm not sure about the last time, but I was in the student section when VA Tech [I think known as the Gobblers, at that time]did it to the Rupp team, that gave him his .500 season. VA Tech was led by Leland Melear [sp?] from duPont Manual HS in Louisville. Stunned crowd after game ended.

Yeah, I was there tonight... It was so quiet in Rupp at one point you could clearly hear the refs talking!
