Look like alot of you I have watched the whole freakin tournament thats what I got the HD and the new big screen for that sole purpose, and I gotta tell you to me Durant should go number 1, Oden 2 maybe? and I like Noah, and here is why!

He is listed as 6"11 they say he is actually 7"1, he plays with passion, I know his dance was bad and his interview was even worse, I know his shot is a little off, but what he does you can't coach and to me the untrained eye doesn't even notice. He does all the little things right and 100 pecent all the time, he screens, he is a great passer, he is a great rebounder, he plays defense and can defend guards at the top of the key, he actually shoots like 66 percent from the free throw land and is over 70 for the tourney! Has he had off nights? Sure, but he can flat out do things other bigs can't IMO, the passing, unselfishness, the rebounding, and for a big man to be the catalyst is rare IMO! Who do I think is the most talented playerd in college basketball? It was Durant without a doubt but who would I take as the second or third pick in the NBA draft? I would seriously consider Noah for all that he brings to the table that doesn't show up in the stat columns!

I'll be the first to rip on Noah at any given opportunity. The hair, the lingo, the attitude all irk me to no end.

But the kid has talent, and you've gotta respect that.

He is around 7' tall, and that in itself makes him NBA material. I'm not sure he's strong enough to play the '5' as a star at the next level though. He needs to do 2 things in order to ensure a big payday.
1) Hit the weights. His upper body just doesn't look like he could bang with the NBA bigs.
2) Work on an outside game. I'm not talking 3 pointers or anything, but he needs to have a good face up, 12' jump shot range.

Noah rebounds, hustles, sets moving screens and seems to have good court awareness. All he needs to do now is take 5 steps with the ball before his shot and he'll fit right in with the NBA crowd!

If I were drafting for my hometown Atlanta Hawks I would take those guys in this order:

(1) Oden;

(2) Durant;

(3) Horford;

(4) Noah.

Brief rationale:

Oden is a true center whose freshman years stats compare favorably to standout big men like Ewing, Mourning, Shaq, Hakeem, etc.

Durant has been college's best player this season. The guy looks like he will be a stud in the NBA. However, it is easier to get a guard or forward than a center.

Horford should be good both offensively and defensively in the NBA. He will fit in on any team and should be a beast.

Noah will need to be on the right team to reach his best level of success. He has no offensive game and is too skinny right now to be a true post player in the NBA. His effort will be his best asset and if he can get on a team where his all-around game (passing, etc.) can be utilized that will be a much better fit than a team that needs a back-to-the-basket big man.

Oden is the first pick all day long. Any GM that doesn't take Oden with the first pick, if he comes out, should be fired on the spot.

I would build my NBA franchise around Oden, he is the complete package and will have a stellar NBA career.

I agree on Oden #1 and it brings back a fond memory of Al McGuire's coined phrase: aircraft carrier. The 5 is more important in NBA than NCAA. Another subject, anyone remember Nowitzki's first years in NBA? Noah reminds me of that (and look how far Nowitzki has progressed, especially shooting) but plays better defense.

Nowitzki was always a standout shooter, though. He was never really a banger. Both are nearly 7'' with some varied skills but I don't see a lot of resemblence between them as prospects.

Me either, but I was just taking it all in. I'm not an Oden fan myself. I guess I just feel like if you take him 8 feet or further away from the rim he's useless! I'd take Durant in a minute!

Agreed....for now. But once Oden polishes his offensive game and footwork, WATCH OUT! I sure hope he leaves, cause I can't take OSU fans anymore....
