-- BUBBLE BAROMETER: Tennessee's loss to LSU late Thursday dropped the Volunteers out of the RPI top 10. Tennessee was No. 11 in RPI Friday morning, though the Vols moved back into the top 10 later in the day when Kentucky lost to Mississippi State and fell to No. 11. Jerry Palm of CollegeRPI.com projects the Volunteers as a No. 6 seed in the NCAA tournament's St. Louis bracket. Palm continues to project just four teams from the SEC into the NCAAs: Tennessee, Vanderbilt as a No. 6 seed in the East Rutherford, N.J., bracket, Florida as a No. 2 seed in the San Antonio, Texas, bracket and Kentucky as a No. 7 in the San Jose, Calif., bracket.

A 7 seed sure would be nice. That 8-9 seed is the one nobody wants. I hope we have a 'PALM' Sunday a little early this year.
The brackets come out about 5:30 CST on Sunday, right? [ 03-10-2007, 05:21 PM: Message edited by: CATTRACKER ]
