He is a special Cat and is going to be exciting to watch play next season! He will get more minutes and expect his stats to show a big increase.

Ulis tweeted Wednesday that he has “unfinished business” and is excited for next season. UK Coach John Calipari said on his radio show Tuesday night that both Ulis and sophomore forward Marcus Lee told him they did not need any NBA feedback and planned to return to Kentucky next season.

ESPN analyst Chad Ford said in his weekly chat Wednesday that Ulis likely would have been drafted this year, though he wouldn’t have been selected in the first round.

Ulis averaged 5.6 points and a team-high 3.6 assists in 23.8 minutes per game this past season.

Ulis more than likely is going to be our best 3 point shooter and a very important part of next years team in more ways than one.

Ulis was the second leading assist leader on the team with just 5 less assists for the entire season than Andrew playing over 100 minutes less than Andrew. He also led the team with the highest 3 point shooting average.(42.9%) Ulis also had the best assist to t/o average. (3.55 to 1) where Andrew had a very good (2.17 to 1) average. Ulis stats are extremely good and is going to be a heck of a point guard for us next year.

I think Marcus Lee can be dominate if he can do the little things to stay on the court. He is so athletic.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

I agree about Lee his a bit raw but he has a ton of talent. He is going to surprise a lot of our fans.

Lee was probably our most gifted athletic player this past season. Hopefully he will develop a 12 to 15 foot shot facing the basket and work on his free throw shooting. He has all the physical tools to be an outstanding basketball player for us next season.

Hopefully Kenny can get him in the gym and get up hundreds of shots 10' and closer to the rim!

Our coach's will have some work to do getting next years team ready. I think we have the athletic ability if we can get everyone on the same page. They are definitely going to need the Big Blue Nation behind them all season long.

We didn't get to see much of Lee this year but when we did see him it's obvious he will help this coming season.

I agree, I really like his athletic ability on defense. His offense is a different story, its atrocious. There are times when he gets a chance for a bunny shot, he still can't even make those.

Lee shot 64.4%, compared to KAT at 56.6%, WCC 57.2% and Dakari 50.6% and none of them shot many over 3 feet from the basket.

Free throws are a different story and he has to spend the whole summer practicing shooting free throws.
