How does your team win and still fall 2 spots in the AP poll?
I realize we lost, on the road, to a team ranked higher than us by a handful of points on Tues. but there were a ton of top 25 teams that lost on Saturday!

They did drop Duke 6 spots for their loss at home to Miami

Not sure we should worry about other's opinions. Let the Cats prove themselves over the season. Screw the polls.. about as meaningful as political polls, IMO.

They're good for nothing but an "attaboy". They mean nothing and the only thing that counts is trophies, and we get our share of them by a mile.

Tip is right screw the polls if we are good enough it will show at seasons end.

Important in March/April... meaningless now. We just need to focus on our execution on the court, not the whims of sportswriters or the biases of coaches.
Polls are like the stock market -- a beauty contest in the early part of the season, but a weighing machine at the end. We will weigh in at the right level when it counts.

Not quite - you might recover ur money in the stock market but you do not recover from 5/6 early losses in march/april in terms of seeding..
Right now we are "projected" a 4 seed. Any worse than that we have no chance - according to history.

Lets just face the facts. If we shoot good we can win. If we shoot bad we may lose. Our standing in the polls at the end is very dependent on our shooting. somewhere about 13-16 is where our shooting proves we are at. Tonights game at Vanderbilt, being on the road, will play a big part on whether we move higher in the standings and move up in the seedings. No problem figuring that out. All we can do is hope we score at least 75 points. If we don't, the chances of us winning the game will be tough. As a matter of fact, to score less than 75 points means we need to hold Vandy under 55 points.
