I'm going out with my head up. This team put it together down the stretch, but tonight our shots just didn't fall. I said before the tourney that if we lose, it'll be because of free throws. Well that definitely hurt tonight. But honestly, I'm proud of what this team and coaching staff accomplished.
I'm already anxious for next year!

I am proud of them too....... I would have never guessed 2 months ago that this group would give me soooo much Pride during the last few weeks of the season.... We got beat by a really good team with probably the BEST guard play we have faced all year..... Proud To Be a CAT!!

I'm proud, but just disappointed in the results. No hardware at all to show for the season: No regular season SEC, no SEC Tourney, and No National Championship.
It was a great tourney run, but the end result was failure.
I think this UK team was full of great kids maybe some of the best and well spoken kids to wear the UK uniform. I always thought they listened and were working hard to overcome their deficiencies. I never saw lack of effort from them. Maybe lack of understanding of what was expected, but not lack of effort.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

I am super proud of this team, I thought before the season started we'd win the National championship, but half way through the season I felt all hope was gone. Then the tweak. This team came together like the 2011 team, and championship or not these kids grew up and learned how to play as A team, and for that I'm very proud.

I'm proud of them too. What a ride this has been! I was afraid that we'd have one not-so-good game in the tournament, and we finally did. But, it was still one of the most thrilling runs I can remember. Now of course the haters (aka IU Hoosier fans) are resorting to taunting about not winning it all. How pathetic is that, your team can't win anything, or even get invited, so you have to just root against a team. I hope that UK never sinks to the level where some fans (I don't think that I could ever be that poor of a sport)would just resort to being against their rival. It's sad for them, but I'm glad that we're not them.
I would have liked to get #9, but if we keep knocking on the door enough, we will.
Go Big Blue, forever!

Had to go to Madisonville today, because Ms Millie had a doctor's appointment. Saw a lot of folks still wearing UK gear. I struck up conversations with a lot of them, and to a man, they were proud of these young Cats. Nothing but respect for Cal, and all of them hope he stays for a long, long time. I'm with them!
