Just had to get on here and brag a little about my grand daughter who is a senior on the Madison southern softball team. She has played for 4 years for the school and tonight she caught a pitch and lined it over the right field wall for her first home run. She is a right handed batter and she lined it to the opposite field over the right center field wall. It's too late for a softball scholarship but at least she proved she could do it.

Wouldn't you know it! Now that high school softball is over for her, she is now playing her first Travel Ball game and she has hit her second career homer. In the first game of travel ball she hit a 3 run homer for her team but they lost the game 8-5. She is going to EKU and maybe she's good enough to walk on.
