Kentucky just landed a grad transfer quarterback Sawyer Smith from Troy, he played a lot last year and put up good numbers throwing and running the ball. He also has two years of eligibility left.

Didn't Hal Mumme come to UK from Troy State? I wonder if they still run some version of the Air Raid? If so, he should be a skilled QB.

I went to a couple Troy games last year. They were definitely a pass first team at least the games I went to.

Former UK coach Neal Brown, was at Troy last season. Now is the coach at West Virginia.

From what I'm hearing, the offensive scheme doesn't change very much with Smith on the field. He's a passing QB that is very good with his legs as well!

It will be interesting to see how Smith handles the SEC. UK is a whole lot different than Troy. Time will tell.
