Three-star tight end Nikolas Ognenovic has committed to Kentucky.

Ognenovic is the No. 31 tight end in the class of class of 2019. He had 14 offers, including offers from Louisville and Ole Miss. He also had interest from Auburn.

Ognenovic is a 6-5, 232-pound prospect from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He plays high school football at Cardinal Gibbons.

In high school, Ognenovic has proven to be a good pass catcher. His size allows for his quarterback to simply put the ball overtop of his defender to give him a catchable ball. He also lines up as a wide receiver sometimes and can be tough to bring down. As a tight end, Ognenovic also appears to be a capable blocker on the edge of the offensive line.

Ognenovic is the 13th commit in Kentucky’s 2019 class, and the first tight end in the class. Prior to his commitment, Kentucky’s class was ranked No. 43 in the country.

If the Cat's ever hope to compete in the sec they'll have to do better than the 43rd ranked recruiting class.
