MOTHER OF OFFICER WHO KILLED RAYSHARD BROOKS FIRED FROM JOB, HERE'S WHAT THE COMPANY SAID

Melissa Rolfe, the stepmom of Garret Rolfe (the former Atlanta Police Officer who shot Rayshard Brooks) has been fired from her job at Equity Prime Mortgage (EPM).

The company released a statement that said they terminated her employment because she “expressed views that do not align with our culture.”

It is not clear exactly what Mrs. Rolfe said which was misaligned with EPM’s culture. During an episode of the Tucker Carlson Show, the company reached out to the host and stated she was let go because of some social media posts. It’s hard not to conclude that her termination was due to her relationship to her son as Tucker Carlson stated:

“Until today, [Rolfe’s stepmother] — her name is Melissa Rolfe — was the H.R. director at a place called Equity Prime Mortgage in Atlanta, Georgia, but today she was let go and she is no longer in that role” Carlson stated. “Apparently, she was fired and her only crime was being Officer Rolfe’s stepmother.”

The Fox News host continued: “According to sources familiar with the matter, who spoke to this program, Rolfe was promised that her job was safe, but today she was told, ‘We have to terminate our relationship with you.'”

“No other explanation was offered, and honestly, no other explanation was needed. It was obvious what happened,” Carlson added. “Rolfe has already been scrubbed from the company’s website, wiped away like the Bolsheviks did with those who lost favor with Joseph Stalin.”

Without seeing the social media posts, it’s not too difficult to conclude that Mrs. Rolfe is being “canceled” because of the current backlash against police violence in cases such as George Floyd. One can only imagine the outrage that would occur if Mrs. Rolfe had made social media posts against police officers and was then let go by a company who said those views did not “align with our culture.”

I wonder how many accounts "the company" will lose over this? If I had an account with them, I know they would lose at least one.
