It's just hard to listen to him. He says nothing. He just said he never expected that they could beat Gonzaga.

Can you imagine Rupp/Hall/Sutton/Pitino/Tubby ever saying that while the coach at Kentucky?

He talks out of both sides of his mouth. You have to play good teams to know how to improve? Ok, so why are you playing North Florida today and trying to say they are good vs. playing in a Holiday tournament.

I think he has just completely lost it. Bellarmine is really good, we are going to have our hands full. LOL. Well I guess he did lose to St. Peters last year.

That is where UK basketball is at now. We are concerned about competing with Bellarmine who just became a D1 school last year. Woooooo, way to play tough competition.

His press conferences are always bizarre. Most of the time, he's lucky he can complete a sentence.

I've been watching a lot of the Maui games this week and I miss playing those tournaments. But we'd probably finish 1-2 with this year's field. I'm sure he doesn't put us in those tournaments because he knows that would be the outcome. Starting over year after year with five new guys is just killing this program. I'm sick of it.

PC,

This would have been UK’s year to have been in Maui too since the last time they played there was 2010. They went every four years. It would have been so much nicer to be in Maui vs playing North Florida and what appears to be the best team in the state according to Cal’s comments in Bellarmine. LOL.

I've been wanting Cal gone for the last three years. My brother has been telling me that I just like being miserable and I just don't like Cal. I tell him that he's half right, that I don't like Cal. I showed him where we're 4-12 over our last 16 games versus top 25 teams and he finally agrees with me. Cal is like a politician he gives you a little while taking a lot and has you convinced that it's best for you. When it really only benefits him and his colleagues and his colleagues are his NBA millionaires.

Yeah, I was tired of that too. But to give Cal some credit, that isn't quite the case as much today as it was before. This year's team has:

Tshiewbe, returning unamimous POY
Toppin, a transerf, and a 3-veteran
Wheeler, a transfer and a 3-year veteran
Ware, a 3-year veteran
Frederick, a transfer, but his first year at UK
Collins, a second-year player
Reeves, a transfer, but his first year at UK

Not exactly the same as the old "one and done" teams.

So, we have more experienced players; what will Cal do with them? I have a tiny glimmer of hope still alive that he will form a great team, but that is no longer my expectation.
