Congratulations to my old High School for winning their 4th consecutive 3A KY state Football Championship over Louisville Central 52-31 last night in Bowling Green Ky. Coach Haywood is the winningest coach in the history of Ky high school football at 417 wins. Belfry will have 5 players going to division 1 next year . One I know of is going to UK he is a offensive tackle 6'7 317 lb. Their offensive line averaged 303 lbs this year biggest in the state. They ran for over 401 yards last night.Congratulations again to the Pond creek nation a little coal mining community in Pike county .

Belfry went 15-0 and scored over 40 points in all but three games where they scored 21-35 and 36 points. They averaged over 45.7 points per game.

Cat. they were ranked 2nd overall in the state of Ky in all classes. Trinity 6A was #1 overall. a Lot of people thought Belfry would have given Trinity all they wanted.

PB your right and I doubt Trinity wanted any part of Belfry as they would of had little to gain and a "whole lot" to lose.

Pro Blue, I grew up in Floyd county, right next door to you. We played Belfry in basketball during my high school years. Sports are big entertainment in the mountains. Congratulations to your alma mater, that is quite a feat.
