First time around KC refused to pay the 150K buyout. After he turned them down, KC came back and agreed to pay the buyout and he is taking the job.

Damn. He deserves the shot, but if he had anything to do with the rise in UK's defense last year, it will hurt to have him go.

At least Stoops is a D guy.

I would like to see the former NFL LB coach get promoted to DC. That would keep the D going on the same path and Stoops could go after a known recruiter and can teach him how to be a position coach.
