First half not so good but really got going in the second half.
The Kentucky Wildcats are now 3-0 following their blowout win of Murray State.
As expected, the Cats looked a little sluggish following their program-shifting win over Florida last week. At halftime, Kentucky held just a 17-3 lead and didn’t look sharp on either side of the ball.
That changed in a big way in the second half, as the Cats scored 31 straight points en route to a 48-10 win. Murray State had just 302 total offensive yards, and about a third of that came in the fourth quarter.
For the first time this season, Kentucky won the turnover battle, 1-0. It was also the first time Kentucky did not commit a turnover this year.
Kentucky is now halfway to bowl eligibility with top-25 for Mississippi State coming to Kroger Field next week.

Next week it's Mississippi State who are ranked 16 in the AP top 25. They play Louisiana tonight who are not-ranked.

It's going to be tough. Stopping their qb will be key.

Don't worry rlt4uk, I'm going to be at the game. Stoops has already set up a system where I'll be able to call the plays in from the upper deck. [ 09-15-2018, 09:20 PM: Message edited by: handycat ]

A few interceptions and fumble recoveries wouldn't hurt either.

With that assurance, anything other than A win will be A dissappointment, lol. I just hope we execute and don't turn the ball over. A punchers chance is all we need.

Also, as an added measure of safety, Stoops has asked me to attend the game and keep an eye on Handy. Too many trips to the concession stand for beer, or evidence of a hip flask means I will have to take his headset and start calling plays instead.
I will be watching you, Handy

I will take care of things in the east endzone from my position at the 32-34 tunnel. Prepare for bad day unless they play different than yesterday. I am guessing a score of 38-17 or worse.
