Their was no clear separation between quarterbacks Gunnar Hoak and Terry Wilson in the race for the starting job on Friday. The competition will carry on into the summer and preseason.

UK coach Mark Stoops said their is no timetable to name a starter.

If we could take Wilson’s running ability and put it with Hoak’s short to mid-range passing accuracy I think we’d have a QB.

I have no faith in Hoak. He was elligible to play, last year and did nothing. He could have a great year, but I don't see it. He is not a gamer, in my opinion.

I would rather have Clark, the kid with big arm, or Terry the Juco guy. Maybe I am not a great judge of talent, but seeing what UK's passing game has looked like the last two season, the coaching staff is not much better.

I am putting my money on Wilson being the starter but it will be a battle for sure as none of them are gifted SEC quarterbacks.

It says a lot about this coaching staff that in year 5 or 6 they are struggling to field a seasoned, productive QB.

Hartline was the last Productive passing QB UK has had. I would like to see an end to that drought.
