Do not confuse a relatively-slow news cycle for Kentucky basketball recruiting this summer for inactivity.
With the coronavirus pandemic shutting down the summer shoe circuits, the Wildcats hold just one commitment in the 2021 class, four-star point guard Nolan Hickman, but more could be coming soon.
A year ago, head coach John Calipari had just picked up his fourth commitment in the 2020 class, but two of those commitments came Sept. 12 and 14. A handful of recent scholarship offers have positioned Kentucky for a similar run in the 2021 class.
“I could see September being a busy month,” Rivals.com recruiting analyst Corey Evans told the Courier Journal on Monday.
Since Aug. 21, Calipari and company have handed out four new scholarship offers to 2021 recruits. Several of those players are believed to be nearing decisions.

It's got to be Hopkins or Sallis. Those are the only too I feel somewhat safe about signing with UK. The others are all a crap shoot. ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

As I said above, it looks like we will be getting these two to sign, while the others will most likely go elsewhere. We definitely need either Sallis or clark.
