OK, I admit it, I’m watching soccer and I’m not ashamed. Well, maybe a little bit.

I watched the U S game Saturday with my grandson and actually enjoyed it after he explained what was going on.

I fear I may be terminally ill as I also have learned to enjoy fruit and vegetables in my old age.

Handy, I never knew Redbone but what I've heard from him and the post you post I'm convinced you're related. 😁

I saw the score 1-0.
I struggle to understand how anyone can watch that. Not judging, just bewildered.

Here's what I don't get...Football, basketball, hockey, auto racing, MMA, all sports televised in out country are maybe 6 minutes of action and then 3 minutes of commercials. Most high interest sports have scheduled commercial breaks in their contracts with the network working...

How in the hell can a whole half of soccer, 45 minutes plus overage time, be broadcast without a single commercial break??? They also have long extended commentary both before the game, excuse me, the match and after.

Formula 1 racing is the only other sport that I know of that does that but they have a butt load of money and likely pay the network to broadcast their races.
