Yep. Another group of us heading out for Arkansas in the morning, in pursuit of the wily trout. This time, two of my sons and my youngest (73) brother will be on the trip, along with four other guys. The weather does not look like it's going to cooperate this time. Forecast is calling for rain all four days. Oh well, we'll still enjoy visiting and cooking and eating anyway. We'll have to avoid politics, because two of the guys, one is my son, are retired school teachers, and both of them are dyed in the wool liberals.

When I grow up I want to be Norm, and go trout fishing all the time.

I can honestly say I've never trout fished in my life, but it sounds like something I could really get into!

Got home late yesterday afternoon. Not a real good trip. Rain every day, resulting in muddy water until they ran the generators, forcing the muddy water downstream. Then we had high, swift water. I do not do well in swift water. Trout do not feed much in muddy water. Bad combination for me! Then yesterday morning the water was low and clear. I caught 10 in the two hours we had to fish before leaving; Twice as many as the previous three days combined! Still had a good time visiting two of my sons, one of my brothers, and four friends, so all was not lost.

I am happy to hear that you had a good time. Catching that many fish in two hours must have kept you busy.

Long as you had a good time, that's what counts...
