My wife was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer last week, and I'm scared to death. I'm sitting here waiting while she has a breast MRI. Her name is Cindy.

I will be happy to pray for her. What is her name? I will pray for your also. This is very stressful.
I attend church with a lady who had breast surgery over twenty years ago. Her surgeon was very distressed because of the cell type of breast cancer that she had. She is doing well with no problems.

RLT, my wife had breast cancer and chose to have them both removed. It's not a very simple thing to go thru but she did pretty good. She's been cancer free for over five years. I will tell you that there has been so much progress made in the treatment of breast cancer. Heck, there's even one type where you just take pills instead of chemo. I'm sure she'll find that there are many resources out there that will help her get thru this. Prayers to both of you.

Thank you guys. We see the Doctor on the 21st. The lack of urgency by the medical professionals is very frustrating. Cindy is very positive and upbeat. I'm acting like I'm fine and strong on the outside but on the inside I'm dying.

rlt4uk,
I learned over my many years of providing health care to my patients, that the serious illness of someone that is loved is more stressful and discouraging to them than the person who is ill. I do sympathize and pray for you in this time of distress and and concern. Is your wife a Christian? (Revelation 14:13)

Most definitely she's a Christian. We both accepted Jesus as our savior years ago.

rtk4uk,
Happy to hear that she is a Christian. I just asked a lady who helps my wife with her housekeeping about where she went to church and she said that she does not go anywhere now, since she was saved many years ago. She believes the doctrine of "Once saved, always saved".
I do plan to teach her that is not Bible doctrine.
I do hope that is not the belief of your wife.

I am thinking and praying for you and Cindy. I realize this is a highly stressful time for you. It will be helpful to get the full diagnosis and plans for treatment as soon as possible.

Sorry that I haven't posted on this in a while. My wife got bad news, she has bi lateral stage 4 breast cancer. The plan is to do chemo and radiation then a complete mastectomy. The Doctors didn't give her a death sentence but said it's going to be a tough row to hoe. She's in great spirits, way better than me. Please keep praying I know they're working.

I have some wonderful news. They done a brain MRI, a full body cat scan, a bone density check and the cancer has not spread. She started chemo last Wednesday and is doing great. I sincerely want to thank each one of you for praying for her and ask for your continued prayers.
