With early football signing period coming up on the 16th of this month, football recruiting news is once again going to start taking back the news front of the college football landscape.
For Kentucky, one of the big names that will be signing on that day is offensive line commit Jager Burton. Burton and his family recently took time to talk to Larry Vaught about the upcoming signing day.
In this article, Vaught speaks with Burton’s mother regarding his enrollment and plans for the coming weeks. By no surprise, whoever will be hired as the offensive coach to replace John Schlarman will play a big decision on if Burton comes to campus early to go through team workouts starting in the spring.
“He is hoping he will know who the new offensive line coach is going to be before signing day so he can have that information. If the info is not there for a solid decision, he can wait and continue to work out and do all the things he’s been doing but he has his heels in the dirt about wanting to go early.”
