Stoops is in a better position now, than what Brooks was. Kentucky has finally put some money into the facilities.

Where Kentucky went downhill was the transition from Brooks to Joker. Brooks hand picked him. The President and Brooks tied the hands of the AD, and they made him hire Joker. Joker fired half his staff and did not have the focus or the managerial skill to be a HC. Not sure how good they would have been, had Joker not done that, but I doubt it would have feel apart as quick as it did.
