Here we have a news organization playing politics. Not sure what is true or not true, but these kinds of stories are not what the press should be putting out there.
Brennen, the former head of the CIA under Obama, is in the cross hairs of the Attorney General. I would suspect that he would have a hand in generating this story. It could also be fodder for the Democrats to have something to keep in the press and work up as factual, to take America's focus off of the impending indictments for the illegal spying and the attempted coup of Trump.
Yes, I believe in freedom of the press. I also believe that some things should not be made public. This reeeks of another made up scandal to take the heat off of their side.
