Wow! Never thought they would do it but UK won 2 games today and forced a final game with IN on Monday at 6:00 PM. They beat WV 10-0 and turned around and beat IN 16-6. I looked at al;l the regionals and I never seen so many hosts getting beat. If UK wins tomorrow they get the super regional at home, depending on which team they have to play.

I thought I read last night where the winner of today's IU vs UK game would go to the super regionals in Baton Rouge. I might be mistaken on that statement.

That may be true. I thought it would be set up like the basketball brackets. UK is #12 and I thought they would play the winner of the #5 bracket and the higher ranked team would get the home field for the supers. I guess logic stops at some point. It's the NCAA.

This team has surpassed every expectation I had for them this year. It would be awesome to see them in the world series. I bet Kentucky Proud Park will be packed tonight.

6,700+ were in attendance last night to see KY knock off the Hoosiers of Indiana.
IU ended up with more hits in the game than KY (9-6) but the final outcome put KY in the win column 4-2 and moving on to Baton Rouge to face LSU in the Super Regionals on Friday evening.

Devin Burkes, KY's outstanding catcher was name MOP of the KY regional. Burkes had 2 of KY's 6 hits.

I was afraid of a letdown after two great games but they surprised me. The last time they played in a regional I was working those games. The first game I passed out before the game started but came back to work 3 more times. They still don't know why I passed out but I did it again at my final football game also.

Yikes, Bama! You passed out twice doing this job? That sounds pretty serious. Do you know the reason why?

They took me to the VA and I was there about 7 hours and all they told me was my brain didn't get enough blood and it probably was what caused me to pass out. I was only out for less than a minute both times. The first time it happened I was getting out of my truck at home and passed out holding onto the door, Luckily me son was also there and got hold of me till I came too. It's just happened 3 times and I haven't went to a specialist to see if he could figure it out.

Probably a good idea to go get that figured out, Bama.

My 2 cents Bama. I would investigate further. My late brother was a brain surgeon as well as a Texas Ranger and I’m sure he would agree.

Do we qualify as a baseball school now?

I didn't really expect UK to win last night, but I sure as heck didn't expect to lose 14-0.
Hopefully we bounce back today and pull out a win. If we can get to the third game tomorrow it's anybody's game.
