Hagans knifed through the lane all evening long, drawing an extra defender and deftly finding shooters and dunkers alike. He finished with 12 assists, tied for a career-best, as UK topped UAB 69-58 Friday in Rupp Arena to improve to 6-1.
UK coach John Calipari liked what he saw, so much so that he’s not sure there are others in the country who can rival Hagans’ ability.
“We could say there are better point guards in the country, but you gotta tell me who you’re talking about,” Calipari said.

When he's locked in on defense, there's none better.

Cal must be trying to build Hagans confidence.
