Correct me if Im wrong. However, the way I see it is UCLA offered Cal a 6 year 48 million dollar deal. Cal is already scheduled to receive 9.2 million dollars over the next 5 years and a 2.6 million dollar retention bonus over the next 3 July's. Thats literally 5.8 million dollars less than what Cal would make at UK over 5 years and if he took a year extension for the same amount 15 million less over 6 years. Does the UCLA AD struggle with math? Either way I thank him for pushing Cal into this life time deal as this is the best thing that could of happened to UK minus winning it all this year.
