Bruce, the ESPN mock draft has only 1 UK player in the lottery, that being Alexander with Knox going at #15. Diallo is in the second round in their draft projection:

From KSR:

quote:

ESPN released a new mock draft on Monday and it includes three former Kentucky Wildcats, but only one in the lottery. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is projected as UK’s top and only lottery pick. ESPN has Gilgeous-Alexander at No. 12 overall to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers could be looking at point guard as a position in need of supplementing, and the size, length and versatility of Gilgeous-Alexander could be attractive here considering the type of lineup flexibility he brings. The fact that he is 6-6 (with a 7-foot wingspan), instinctual defensively and unselfish makes him easy to slot in alongside virtually any type of player. His offense has made significant strides as the season has moved on, helping him surprisingly emerge as arguably Kentucky’s best long-term prospect. [ESPN] Kevin Knox is next with a slight drop from his previous projection. Knox is now slotted at No. 15 overall to the Washington Wizards, one spot out of the lottery. With Markieff Morris approaching the final year of his contract, the Wizards could very well start thinking of supplementing their power forward position with a player who fits the modern game. Knox didn’t have an efficient freshman season, partially due to playing out of position, but there’s a significant market in the NBA for combo forwards in his mold who can make an open shot, defend multiple positions and offer offensive versatility. He’s one of the youngest players in this draft, so he still has plenty of room to grow. [ESPN] Hamidou Diallo is the only other Wildcat expected to hear his name called on draft night. ESPN thinks he is a second-round pick, projected at No. 40 overall to the Brooklyn Nets. UK’s three other NBA hopefuls — PJ Washington, Jarred Vanderbilt and Wenyen Gabriel — are not among the top 60 prospects in the class.
quote:

Hopefully we will get PJ Washington, Vanderbilt and Gabriel back for another year.

I'd be really (pleasantly) surprised if Gabriel came back. From what I've read, his family's financial situation is dire.

Since Gabriel did not get invited to the Combine, he will probably look overseas to hook up with a team. I know he comes from a very poor family in Sudan or one of those countries. I sure wish he would give us another year, he could be very helpful next season.

I would love to see him back. He has the potential to make a huge difference in next years team, at least IMO. By the way, Cal agrees with me.

I would think Gabriel would be well served money wise to stay and improve his game to the point where he would be a "first" round pick in next seasons NBA draft next . If he stays out i doubt his pay check would be "far" less no matter what
team he would play for.

If Washington and Vanderbilt both return, I seen Wenyan leaving as I don't see him getting the playing time to improve his draft stock. However, if either or both of those leave, then I think there is a strong possibility that Wenyan returns.

Right now, I am hearing the Washington may likely stay in the draft if he gets any indication or guarantee of being drafted in the second round. With that in mind, I think Gabriel may very well be back at Kentucky next year.

I hope your right as Gabriel will help us "a lot". It's going to help make Gabriel a better player too and his draft stock will only go up when he does leave for the NBA.

I certainly don't have any inside info, just reading a lot of reports and putting info together. I hope he comes back. I really like Gabriel. However, I don't think his draft stock will rise unless there is room for him to get significant time on the floor.
