Were The Pitino fiasco have occured at Kentucky, he would have one choice, resign or be fired. At UL, he is allowed to go public tonight and vow to stay at the school. Without a doubt with AD Tom Jurich full backing and support.

He probably will get off easy but he will have to live with that the rest of his life.

I am not so sure. Winning will make A LOT of people, blue or red, turn the other way. Pitino was well rumored to be a philanderer in Lexington. I don't know, but his actions in Louisville make me believe that it was likely true. I didn't hear an outcry then. If he starts losing, then i bet he won't last long. If he winds then all will be forgotten by most.
