This is a surprise for sure.

Games on the second day of the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament, being played this week at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, will be played in a single session beginning at 12 Noon CT on Thursday due to winter weather in the Central Arkansas area.

The original schedule called for a break after the first two games of the day, creating two sessions of two games each. The new schedule will feature four games played consecutively with the opening game between Arkansas and Ole Miss tipping off at 12 Noon followed by games at approximately 2:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. CST.

The change is being made in order to facilitate an earlier departure from the arena for teams and fans in the final two games of the day due to weather conditions.

After the Noon game, which is Game 3 of the tournament, Auburn will play Texas A&M in Game 4, Georgia will face Missouri in Game 5 and Vanderbilt will play Kentucky in Game 6.

Tickets issued for Thursday's originally scheduled Session Two and Session Three will be good for admission throughout the day on Thursday.

In addition, any unused tickets from Wednesday's games may be used for general admission seating for Thursday's games and any remaining sessions of the tournament.

All games on Thursday will be carried on the SEC Network. Fans are encouraged to monitor the SEC Network, SECsports.com and the SEC Twitter and Facebook accounts for updates of game times throughout the day on Thursday.

In Session One on Wednesday night, Auburn defeated Florida, 71-49, and Vanderbilt defeated Alabama, 66-56.
