UK is finally ranked in both polls now. For the time being. We are 14th in one poll and 16th in the other one. To stay there I think we'll have to beat LSU, otherwise we will be a 1 week wonder because Georgia will most likely clean our clock the next week between the hedges.

I do not remember UK football being ranked in the top 25 in my lifetime (I'm 82). Is that correct?

We were ranked as high as #10 a few years ago when we won 10 games.

Thanks for that information. I was not aware that UK football was ever ranked that high.

Actually, I don't have the statistics, but I think KY was ranked pretty high during the Curci tenure too! I just barely remember those days myself!

According to the UK Athletics Dept football stats, KY won a national title and an SEC Championship in '50 under Bryant
KY won their second SEC Championship in '76 un Fran Curci.
I'd dare say KY was ranked in '76

KY finished the 2018 campaign in Jan '19 ranked 12th in the nation in the final poll!
Not quite the top 10, but really close!
In '77 KY finished the season ranked 6th in the final AP Poll!
