Even though schedules remain in flux for all but one of the Power Five conferences, it’s not slowing down the production of preseason college football rankings.
College Football News is previewing the bizarre 2020 season by ranking all 130 FBS teams. In Pete Fiutak’s rankings Kentucky makes the top 25 cut by coming in at No. 25 overall.
What kind of magic will Kentucky conjure up this year? Ideally there will actually be a passing attack this time around, but the coaching staff has proven over the last few years that it can generate production and wins no matter what.
Kentucky is one of eight SEC teams in CFN’s preseason top 25. CFN is the second outlet to rank the Wildcats in the top 25, following Phil Steele. See where a few other notable names fall in the ranking of all 130 FBS teams.
63. Vanderbilt 48. Ole Miss 45. Missouri 32. Louisville 29. South Carolina 28. Tennessee 24. Mississippi State 23. Texas A&M 12. Auburn 7. Florida 5. LSU 4. Georgia 3. Alabama

SEC has 8 top 25 teams counting the Cats. Hard to believe that one conference can be so dominant.
