I hope he is a skilled QB. "Athletes" are my least favorite type of recruit in football. Raw athleticism is not talent, and raw talent does not always translate into on-the field skill.
But, hope springs eternal. We haven't had a really great QB for a number of years now. Sure would be nice to see one in Blue! [ 12-05-2019, 09:11 PM: Message edited by: Tiptree ]

Everyone down here believed he'd be the starter at Auburn. Most Auburn people still think he's better than Patrick Nix. I think we got a good one.

rlt4uk, that is good news. When I saw "#1 athlete", I soured a bit on him. Sure am glad to hear a better-informed opinion say he is the real deal!
Now, let's get him cleared to play next year!

I think he's more than capable of challenging for the starting job next year.

I think it may be difficult to get him cleared for this coming year. But the NCAA does strange things at times, so you never know.

I'd be surprised if the NCAA gives him eligibility to play next season! That's OK. Gives him an extra year to get the playbook down and lead us to an SEC East championship!
