Kentucky just landed a grad transfer quarterback Sawyer Smith from Troy, he played a lot last year and put up good numbers throwing and running the ball. He also has two years of eligibility left.

Didn't Hal Mumme come to UK from Troy State? I wonder if they still run some version of the Air Raid? If so, he should be a skilled QB.

I went to a couple Troy games last year. They were definitely a pass first team at least the games I went to.

From what I'm hearing, the offensive scheme doesn't change very much with Smith on the field. He's a passing QB that is very good with his legs as well!

It will be interesting to see how Smith handles the SEC. UK is a whole lot different than Troy. Time will tell. [ 05-19-2019, 12:11 PM: Message edited by: catmandoo ]
