Topic: Kash Daniel really enjoyed breaking Louisville

When the Kentucky Wildcats’ were on defense last night, as they faced up against their rival the Louisville Cardinals for the Governor’s Cup, they had one goal and one goal only in mind according to Junior Linebacker Kash Daniel:
“We were just trying to break their will. We wanted to come out and dominate for 60 minutes and force them to quit,” exclaimed Daniel. “Coming out and dominating like we did tonight, there is no better feeling.”

I watch Kash, and he is out of position and misses more tackles than any other player that I see.

I am wondering if they call stunts with the LBs at times. I do see Kash going full speed in a lane gap on occasion, and the runner is choosing a different lane. Kash did have a tackle for a loss, where he looked to be shooting a lane and met the runner. But when it doesn't work, it seems that the big gains happen.
It seems that the big runs happen on his side, more often. I could be wrong on that. I wouldn't think that he, alone, is responsible for controlling the edge. Does anyone else see that?

Being an LB I wouldn't think it was his responsibility to set the edge anyway. That's more the responsibility of the position Josh Allen has!

Kash not responsible for controlling the edge, was my opinion as well.
I would like to know the stats, though, about which side gives up the biggest chunks of yardage, especially big runs. That it not a stat that is made available to the public.
