Benny Snell has made quite the name for himself as Kentucky’s workhorse back this year, but that hasn’t stopped many from likening him to other former superstars at his position.
Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason added another comparison during his Tuesday press conference, saying Snell reminds him recent Georgia standout, Nick Chubb.
That’s high praise for Snell, who leads the SEC in rushing with 116.5 yards per game and is tied for second with eight touchdowns on the ground. The junior is considered a fringe Heisman Trophy contender after helping the Wildcats start 5-0 and make their first appearance in the AP Top 25 since 2007.
